THE PROGRAM
Inside the Writers Room is designed to work for you. If you’re new to TV Writing, take WORKSHOP #1. If you’ve got half a dozen pilots under your belt, and you’re working as a script coordinator on The Walking Dead, maybe WORKSHOP #2 is a better starting point. Or, perhaps you simply need a pair of professional eyeballs to look over your project and help figure out how to approach that rewrite. In that case, ONE-ON-ONE MENTORING might be right up your alley.
Of course, you could do all three.
WORKSHOPS
Like the name says, my one-day workshops re-create the look and
feel of a writers room. Rest assured, I won’t just prattle away — everything
we discuss, we’ll put to work. You’ll pitch, work the board, tackle all kinds of
story, script, and career strategy problems. All while having a great time in a
relaxed, no-jerks environment. By the end, you’ll have a professional skill-set to
propel your writing and career to another level.
Note: Because it’s close-quarters around the table, class size is limited to twelve.
BIO
Jordan Rosenberg is an only slightly balding TV Writer/Producer with an up-to-date IMDb page and a wildly outdated Wikipedia page. See for yourself! After toiling as an assistant at ABC/ABC Studios to a slew of top drama-development execs, Jordan went on to the ABC Writers Fellowship… which led him to: The Lost Experience. LOST. The Middleman. Medium. Alphas. Falling Skies. An agency switch. And now a development deal at a major studio. He also does improv and spends most of his hours taking orders from a six-month-old puppy named Jerry Seinfeld.
